Great sound, but wireless might be overkill for some
The Altec Lansing M812 Octiv Air is a slick looking iPod dock/speaker unit that sounds great, but should only be purchased by those needing a wireless unit.

Picture is a little misleading
This is not completely wireless as it appears in the picture… the little base still needs to be plugged into wall. This is NOT MADE FOR IPHONES.

Nearly perfect…
This is a pretty exceptional product. Its a wireless ipod sound system that can really fill a room with sound. Set up is very easy.

WOW! Impressive Quality. Beats Bose!
I’m extremely impressed with the Altec Lansing Octiv Air! I had a similar Bose dock a while back but returned it because it was just too overpriced for what it was.

Really good, BUT…
This iPod dock delivers superb sound and pumps up volume that will blow away a lot of competitors. I haven’t yet seen a unit that pumps up both bass and treble like this one does…

great value for money
Got this to dock and charge my 2nd gen ipod touch. I considered buying the Bose Portable Sound Dock but the Octiv Air outweighed it in overall value. Set up was a cinch.
