Cheap mount
I’ve broken the locking tab now on two mounting brackets (one from the original set and a replacement bracket).

Cheap solution to holding an expensive GPS
Garmin really dropped the ball with this GPS mount. A 50 cent part to hold a $350 GPS. I’ve broken at least 4 of these now. Each one has had the tab break off.

The tab that holds the GPS on breaks off too easy but it worked great until then!

weak link
The Garmin mounts break if you tighten them too tight with the zip ties, then you get to buy more. I have bought 4 so far.

Good Addition
I use my Garmin 305 on 3 bikes, and this extra mount kit does exactly what it is supposed to do…hold the GPS on the bike.
