There are a lot of so-called “extended” batteries out there for the iPhone, iPhone 3G, and iPhone 3G S.

For emergencies
I wanted a battery charger for emergencies that I could throw in my purse and forget about. This is good for that purpose except that it loses its charge fairly quickly.

Happy with the iPhone backup battery – easy to use and good to go.
When my iPhone runs out of juice, I only plug this bacup charger to my iPhone. Then, it is good to go. I am very happy now.

Broke after about a month

ipod 1st gen touch user
just bought it today and plugged it into my computer to charge. Took just under 2hrs for full charge. Drained my touch to 20% at the first warning and plugged it in.

I recieved one Kensington Battery as a present and initially liked it so much I puchased a second. After less the 10 charges one unit stopped accepting a change.
