Using it for a Kindle 2
I bought this for my Kindle 2 because I didn’t notice it was for the Kindle 1. It is a very tight fit (obviously they don’t have the same footprint), but it does work.

It fits! The new covers fit the K2!
We all know by now the K1 cover is too small for the K2. My cover arrived well ahead of my K2, so I didn’t know this until the 30-day return policy was well-expired.

Vast improvement over original Kindle case!
